About Light Collaborative

Formed in 2022, Light Collaborative exists to serve clientele in the construction, design, and energy efficiency categories by aligning building design criteria, lighting products and commissioning services.

There are gaps in the market for companies like Light Collaborative to exist and make a great impact. The company’s proprietor, Connor Lenz comes from a business technology background and uses those skills in addition to his acquired knowledge and passion for lighting design to offer coordinated lighting system design and procurement services.

With a decade in solutions design & continuing interest in the fundamentals of light science, as well as interest in pursuing Net-Zero building construction, Connor has maintained his industry certification through the NCQLP for lighting and controls design. When asked about the reason for continuing in lighting as a second generation lighting expert, Connor replied, “because when technology, controls, residential/commercial, automation, and energy/utility/sustainability can be discussed in the same sentence as LIGHTING - I want to understand and master the entire implementation process. I’ll speak on the economics and provide the most amazing light the eye can behold in the process.”
